Recently bee-it reported on how video resource, TrueTube, is involved in the SARACEN project, which stands for Socially Aware, collaboRative, scalable, Coding, mEdia distributioN.
Together with several companies and universities from across the EU, TrueTube has received funding to research and create a state-of-the-art, online video streaming platform for High Definition video using existing, low-bandwidth internet infrastructures. TrueTube believe this could have a revolutionary impact on the use of high-quality video and multimedia in schools so, to help them understand what users might want from such a system, they have set up an online questionnaire and are asking teachers and educationalists to help by filling it out. It will take about 10 minutes of your time, and you will be helping to lay the groundwork for the creation of a groundbreaking new system which will have real practical application for teachers.
If you would like to assist with this research by completing the questionnaire, please click here. You can find out more about the SARACEN project here.
