Since the implementation of the new computing curriculum, there have been numerous questions around how to teach various aspects of programming. Over the past few months, animation experts, Zu3D have built specific computer coding packs that help teachers to deliver lessons that are fun to teach and learn, making the computing principles easy to understand.

After working in the animation industry for a number of years, Joe Collins decided to retrain as a teacher and in 2011, he became an IT Teacher in Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre, Kent. Several years on and Joe is now Acting Principle Teacher of ICT and Computing, with animation playing an important role in the lives of students at the school.
