£1000 Giveaway as DigiExam Gives Back to Teachers!

To celebrate World Teacher Day, DigiExam, the company that’s all about helping teachers to save time with digital assessments, has just announced the launch of a brand new competition to be hosted on Twitter, designed to help give teachers back more than just time – but up to £1000!

We conducted an informal poll of UK teachers, and found that (surprise surprise) teachers are spending a lot of their hard earned money on their students and their classrooms.

Most NQTs spend around £50 on simply setting up and preparing their new classroom, before the Autumn term has even begun. Once you add in books for reading corners, magazine or journal subscriptions and the occasional treats for motivational prizes, it’s not surprising that many teachers spend from £200 to up to £1000 each year out of their own pocket.

In order to thank teachers for their dedication to their students, DigiExam has launched a competition in which teachers could be in with the chance of winning that money back. All they have to do, is submit photos of what they’d love to spend their free time doing, post the image on Twitter under the hashtag #digiexamgivesback, and wait to see if their image is chosen.

Each Wednesday, on the lead up to World Teacher Day this October 5th, 3 winners of a £200 Amazon voucher will be announced. One lucky winner, based on the number of retweets their image receives, will be awarded a £1000 Amazon voucher PLUS a year’s free subscription for their school to DigiExam – so that they can finally claim back some of that free time from hours of writing and marking assessments manually!

Don’t forget to tweet with the hashtag #digiexamgivesback to be in with the chance to win!
